About Multitek Performance
Steve Payne, owner and operator of Multitek Performance has over 20 years’ experience at the highest level in tuning and bike set-up, having worked as chief race engineer for CAS Honda, HCR Honda and supported a number of championships winning riders, including Rob Herring, Paul Copper and Pascal Leuret.
In 2008, Steve made the decision to set up Multitek Performance with the help of friend and owner of Multitek Honda, Trevor Avery in order to concentrate on providing a professional tuning service for fellow race teams and riders. Within a year of setting up, Multitek Performance was providing the engine and tuning work for a number of teams including CCM racing and Pioneer Emberson Yamaha which saw the business grow to support a number of professional teams in both the UK and overseas at national and GP level.
Through their services, Multitek Performance continues to play a part in winning championships across a number of different areas of the sport around the world and Steve Payne has become known in the industry as “the ECU guy”. Steve is an approved distributor of Vortex ECU’s.
